Blessings in a Backpack - Rancho Cordova

We are part of a national organization filled with volunteers sending home food for 89,000 children across the USA every weekend. We have been sending weekend food home since 2014 but our national began back in 2008.

We provide weekend food for over 400 elementary aged students, in the FCUSD, who otherwise will not have enough food until they go back to school on Monday morning. Our students receive free breakfast and lunch while attending school, so we fill in the gap the for the 68 hours they are not in school.  

Kids should worry about being kids, not where their next meal is coming from.
