Trees are a special part of Rancho Cordova providing a wide range of benefits that help cool our city, clean our air, beautify our community, provide habitat for animals and birds, and so much more.
The Cities Urban Forestry team presents Branching Out: A Tree Care Workshop where you will have the opportunity to learn from local experts including the City of Rancho Cordova, Cal Fire, UC Master Gardeners the Sacramento Tree Foundation, and more about the following:
- The importance of trees.
- Best watering practices for young and mature trees.
- How to properly prune your trees.
- The city's Free Trees and Free Stump Removal Programs.
- And more!
Admission is FREE and participants will receive a FREE hand pruner (one per family) courtesy of the City of Rancho Cordova.
