Stop the Bleed is a grassroots national awareness campaign and call-to-action, training people to stop bleeding in severely injured people. stopthebleed.org

Sponsored by Rancho Cordova Rotary in collaboration with Dr. David Shatz, UCDMC, American College of Surgeons, Rancho Cordova Police Department, and the Department of Homeland Security, Stop the Bleed in Rancho Cordova will provide training for community members so they are able to respond to a bleeding emergency.

Stop the Bleed encourages bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. We will be hosting a training on August 20th and also encourage and support others in hosting future trainings.
