Before signing up for a shift, please be sure you've attended an orientation first. If you have not done an orientation training, you cannot volunteer with the museum.
We have new Volunteer Roles so please read carefully and choose the role that works best for you!
Floor Volunteer expectations include:
Returning toys to their place
Wiping down surfaces that seem messy or dirty
Assisting the Education Team
Engaging with parents and kids through play
As a Floor Volunteer, your job will be to help out in keeping the museum safe and clean as well as engaging with our guests. Some days you may be given specific jobs, others you may just be asked to do the general tasks set above. The Children's Museum staff pride ourselves on making a great and lasting impression on guests, encouraging them back and recommending us to friends and family. To do this, we must maintain a clean, safe and welcoming facility for our guests.
