Before signing up for a shift, please be sure you've attended an orientation first. If you have not done an orientation training, you cannot volunteer with the museum.
We have new Volunteer Roles so please read carefully and choose the role that works best for you!
Art Studio Aid
- Helping to lead the Hands-On Activity for the week
- Make sure that the crayons and markers are capped and in the correct bucket
- Clean/sweep around sensory bin
- Engage with the children
As an Art Studio Aid, your job will be to help out in the Art Studio by keeping the space clean and engaging with guests. Some days will be filled with things to do, others will not so in the case of the latter, feel free to help out on the rest of the floor or ask a staff member for a task that needs to be done!
The Children's Museum staff pride ourselves on making a great and lasting impression on guests, encouraging them back and recommending us to friends and family. To do this, we must maintain a clean, safe and welcoming facility for our guests.
