Description

In 1976 volunteers celebrated 200 years by patriotically painting fire hydrants. 50 years later, celebrating America’s 250th birthday, a group of patriotic community members has reignited the project and will be painting 250 hydrants.

The project will kick off with the painting of fire hydrants along the historic 4th of July Parade route.

Volunteers will work in small teams to clean and paint the hydrants. Training, tools, and guidance will be provided to safely paint along the roadway.
