The City of Rancho Cordova is home to six miles of the American River, as well as to 41 miles of creeks and channels, some of which flow directly to the river. The city’s Stormwater Division (Public Works Department) protects these waterways by preventing pollutants from entering the drainage system through education and coordinating cleanups throughout the community to intercept and remove trash before it reaches the river.
Join us for our rescheduled date of Saturday, April 29th at 9am as we cleanup at Cordova Creek. Blue Shield’s Corporate Citizenship team will be the onsite leads for this event. Trash pickers, bags, and gloves and a light snack will be provided.
We look forward to seeing you there!!!
